PSYC 3270.  Sensation and perception II

Tuesday and Thursday, 1:00-2:30 pm

General description:   This course covers advanced topics in visual perception. Topics include two- and three-dimensional shape perception, object recognition, perceptual organization, signal detection theory, philosophy of mind, perception and art, and evolution of vision.

Requirements:  quizzes (10%), seminar presentation (10%), two midterm tests (25% each), final exam (30%)

Prerequisites:  PSYC 1010 with a minimum grade of C, and PSYC 2220
