• Andrea is walking!  (as of one day after her first birthday)
• She loves to swim and generally play in the water.
• Teething is still causing some discomfort, but we are all coping
• She is sleeping through the night, from 7:30 pm to 6:30 am
• Andrea's coordination is improving: Able to stack blocks
• She has started daycare, and really enjoys playing with other children
• Her first spoken word was 'cat' and she can understand a few other words (mom, dad, ball, car, bottle, no, splash)
• She has began to learn to crawl down the stairs (welcome to our house of baby gates)

• Andrea is eating almost everything now and is developing food preferences
• She is drinking from a bottle and a 'sippy' cup regularly
• Andrea is pulling herself to a standing position and loves to stand
• She has started cruising around objects
• She is teething like mad. Oh so much fun.
• She is sleeping through the night the majority of the time (except when teething - see above)
• Andrea can place object inside other objects, can clap and will amuse herself for longer periods of time
• She has began to learn to crawl up stairs (welcome to our house of baby gates)

• Andrea has added biscuits and Cheerios to her menu (still very messy business)
• She is just over 16 lbs.
• we have decided to try a 'bottle' and it seems to be working
• Andrea can now sit-up from a horizontal position
• she has started to crawl (very slowly, but still mobile)
• she can stand momentarily and pull herself up while holding on to something
• she is sleeping through the night the majority of the time (Mom and Dad still very tired)
• Andrea loves to laugh

• Andrea is eating carrots, peas, squash, etc. daily (very messy business)
• she will occasionally drink from a 'sippy cup', but prefers to nurse
• she is sitting up and playing more actively with her toys
• she is actively rolling about and starting to travel (she also hops around on her bum)
• she can stand momentarily while holding on to something
• Andrea like to exercise her vocal cords at frequencies that only a dog could enjoy

• Weight= 14 lbs. (50th percentile - average) - Height= 27"  (95th percentile - she's tall)
• Andrea is beginning to have a little cereal every day (some if it enters her mouth)
• we are starting to train her with a small cup (again, some milk enters her mouth)
• her coordination and attention span are much better
• she is playing more with her toys (not just holding and dropping them)
• the big news...  she is now sitting up without falling over (most of the time)
• she is now rolling over both ways, from her back and stomach
• she doesn't like sleeping or napping much

• she is enjoying the time that she is spending on her tummy, holding her head high off the blanket
• she is reaching out to touch and grab things with better coordination
• still working on sleeping through the night
• Andrea can sit in her 'activity saucer' and play with the toys
• she now weights approximately 14 lbs (50th percentile)
• she is very long -- in the 95th percentile (she is taller than 95% of other babies her age)

• Andrea can now roll over from her back to her front (both ways)
• her peripheral vision and tracking is much improved (you can't sneak by her)
• she is 'speaking' much more now and announces her hunger with vigor
• still working on sleeping through the night

Up to October 16 / 2001

• Andrea has noticed that she has two hands
• usually sleeping from 10:30pm right through to 7:00am (usually, well sometimes usually!)
• holding her head up with confidence
• is smiling and laughing (she is ticklish)
• loves playing in water

• just over 10 lbs
• can focus on things and recognize mom and dads face
• can hold her head up ( ...with a little bobbing)
