Safety Events.

The York University Safety Awareness website was developed as part of our commitment to the
Metropolitan Action Committee on Violence Against Women and Children (METRAC) York University Safety Audit report, in order to create a community where people feel valued and safe. This initiative has been made possible thanks to a partnership between the Office of the President, York Security Services, Student Community and Leadership Development, Student Housing, Emergency Preparedness, Faculty of Graduate Studies, Centre for Human Rights, Office of Student Conduct & Dispute Resolution, Vice-President University Relations, Sexual Assault Survivors Support Line, Centre for Women & TransPeople, Glendon Women and Trans Centre, The Trans Bisexual Lesbian Gays Allies at York, Graduate Students Association, York Federation of Students, Office of Student Services (Glendon Campus), Access Centre and many of the college councils.
