goSAFE Escort Service
goSAFE is a complimentary service that provides a safe and secure means of getting from one destination to another on campus. goSAFE will walk you to and from any on-campus location to any other on-campus location. The Campus Shuttle is a complimentary shuttle service to transport community members on a specific route. 

Emergency and Blue Light Phones
Emergency Telephones are located in parking lots, residence lobbies, some building entrances, in all elevators and laundry rooms. Outdoor Emergency Telephones are equipped with a blue light so they are highly visible. Calls from the Blue Light Phones will be directly connected to the Security Control Centre.

Sexual Assault Survivors Support Line (SASSL)
The Sexual Assault Survivor's Support Line (SASSL) provides unbiased and non-judgemental peer support and referrals to survivors of sexual violence.

Centre for Women and Transpeople
The Centre for Women and Trans People is a student-funded, collectively run, volunteer-driven organization at York University. The Centre is a progressive, pro-choice, anti-racist, queer-positive, trans-positive, feminist organization.

Glendon Women & Trans Centre
The staff and volunteers of the Glendon Women and Trans Centre work to provide a positive space where no person is judged based on his or her gender, race, religion, creed, sexual preference or personal beliefs.

Counselling and Disability Services
Counselling and Disability Services provides a range of services, including personal counselling, group development workshops, learning skills training, support and academic accommodation for students with learning, mental health, physical, sensory and medical disabilities.

Centre for Human Rights
The Centre for Human Rights resolves concerns and complaints about allegations of discrimination and/or harassment as defined by the Ontario Human Rights Code and York’s human rights policies.

Safe Source - Thursday Evenings
A Safe Pubbing Kiosk run by Health Education & Promotion and its Partners.

Occupational Health and Safety
The Department of Occupational Health and Safety (DOHS) provides occupational health and safety services to employees of the University.

Reporting Lights Out on Campus
This initiative encourages members of the University community to report any exterior lights on campus not properly functioning.

Why Work Alone Program
If you are concerned about working alone in a classroom, lab or office at night or on weekends and holidays, you can contact Security Services and a security operator will arrange to phone hourly or to have a Security or Student Safety Officer visit you periodically if no telephone is available.

TBLGAY offers resources and support for the GLBT and Queer friendly community in and around the York University campus.
