Each year, the Centre for Student Community & Leadership Development at York, in conjunction with the University's Interfaith Council, invites members of the York community to come out and meet the "Faces of Faith" during Interfaith Council Day.
York University stands out internationally because of its religious and cultural diversity, and the aim of Interfaith Council Day is to showcase the recognized religious clubs at York University.
Each club participates in an information fair with representatives present to answer any questions about their particular club. The information fair is followed by an open forum in the Scott Religious Chapel where a multi-faith panel of speakers presents a topical issue from the perspective of their faith.
