The Key Holder shall:

  1. Report missing key(s) immediately to the Key Coordinator or Designated Authority of his/her Faculty, department or operating unit.
  2. Return key(s) upon request of the Key Coordinator or Designated Authority of his/her Faculty, department or operating unit.
  3. As required, for inventory/audit purposes, provide accounting of key(s) held upon request of the Key Coordinator or Designated Authority of his/her Faculty, department or operating unit.

The Key Holder shall not:

  1. Loan or transfer a key to another person
  2. Duplicate a key
  3. Alter keys, locks or mechanisms
  4. Damage, tamper or vandalize lock or hardware
  5. Prop open secure doors
  6. Admit unauthorized person(s) into a building
