The Key Coordinator of the Faculty, department or operating unit is responsible for keeping records of keys held, issued and retrieved at the local unit level.  A standard record-keeping template is provided by Security Services for this purpose.  The Key Issue Record contains information about keys issued to named faculty, staff or students, and whether the key(s) were issued on a temporary basis (with an “expiry” date).

Security Services maintains a record of authorized Key Coordinators and Designated Authorities for every Faculty, department or operating unit.

CSBO- Maintenance section maintains records of keys issued to Key Coordinators in response to approved Key Requests.
