Reporting Scholarships, Awards and Bursaries

Some scholarships, awards and bursaries need to be reported on your OSAP application as they may affect your OSAP funding amounts. The MyAwards Summary tool shows a list of the awards you received from York University and whether you need to report them to OSAP.

To use the MyAwards Summary tool, follow these steps:

  1. Go to MyAwards Summary and review your York scholarships, awards and bursaries for the current year.

  2. Check the column "Should this be reported to OSAP?".

    • "No" means do not enter it on your OSAP application as York University informs OSAP directly that you have received this award, the amount of the award and the date it was issued.
    • "Yes" means you do need to report this award to OSAP. If you received this award after you submitted your OSAP application, you can use the Income Change Request Form to report these funds.

  3. External awards (scholarships, awards and bursaries received from agencies other than York University) do not appear on My Awards Summary. You need to report these on your OSAP application as they may affect your funding amount. If you received this after you submitted your OSAP application, use the Income Change Request Form.

For information on reporting all other changes to OSAP, including employment income, please visit the Reporting Changes web page.
