The SOS hosts several seminars throughout the year to provide students with information on professional and graduate schools. It serves as an excellent opportunity for students who are unsure of what path to take to learn more about what’s available to them.
SOS members provide information about programs, where they are offered, the application process, exams required (i.e. MCAT, PCAT, LSAT) and lots more.
At these seminars, we often bring in guest speakers (past SOS members and York University students) from professional schools to talk more about their experiences. Students have the opportunity to ask questions and have a more interactive environment.
