Reviewing the Whole

Reviewing your draft as a whole means reconsidering its purpose and organization.

Start by reviewing the assignment instructions to identify any elements of the assignment that are not yet fully addressed in your draft. It is very common not to notice some aspects of the assignment instructions until you have written a draft or two. Also your understanding of the instructions can improve as you begin to understand your topic better; so be sure to review the instructions from time to time as you write.
