Christina completed her undergraduate degree at Brock University. She completed her MA in psychology at York University in 2018 and received a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC) Joseph-Bombardier Graduate Scholarship to support her studies. She successfully defended her PhD in the summer of 2023 and is currently finalizing her dissertation and other research for publication.
