Coaching Certificate Program
The Coaching Certificate Program combines the philosophic and scientific aspects of coaching with a practical field experience in order to prepare students for coaching positions in the community, in the school systems or in professional sport. Varsity Coaches, School of Kinesiology and Health Science. Several York Yeomen and Yeowomen coaches have headquarters in Stong College .

The English Department teaches courses across the breadth of literatures in English. With particular strengths in Canadian and postcolonial literature and in literary and cultural theory, the department's offerings address texts ranging historically from Beowulf (and before) to Poppy Z. Brite (and after) and in genres from the ubiquitous tragedy and lyric to that rarest of all--the anonymous autobiography.

Athletic Therapy Certificate Program

The Athletic Therapy Certificate Program includes courses which encompass anatomy, prevention of athletic injuries, injury assessment, treatment and rehabiliation of athletic injuries, and the medical aspects of involvement in sport. This is a Canadian Athletic Therapy Association Accredited program.
