It was awfully short.
Barely got the thing rolling and it was ended. |
Make it a permanent/long-term project, promote it more. Like the Beat which is sent to everyone. |

In order to properly examine a project, one needs to let it run it's course. To get feedback from it, one must look at both the contributors and those whom were the " targer " viewer. There was barely any following and participation outside the writing team, which is a direct result of insufficient advertising and period of time it was taken. Felt like the project was ended prematurely. Just my two cents.

It was interesting to read other students stories. I think it is a great way for prospective students to learn about York. |

I think there should be more photographs. I know you gave us camera's but you should stress the importance of photos. |

The content was too sparse (see below). |
Timing, more than anything. We got so busy with our real lives that we didn't have time to write about them. Having a direction or suggested posts to get the ball rolling would also have been good because there's nothing more daunting than being told to write about anything and having no idea where to start. |

It was too clunky and coldly corporate. I have no idea how specifically that could be improved. |
It was unfortunate that the project was launched just when our workloads started getting insanely heavy. I'm confident that there would have been more entries from all of us if we'd had more free time to devote to the project. |

It went by fast and it was at a time of the year when everyone is busy, so I felt I did not put my full potential in what i was expecting to put into it |
I think this kind of blogging experience should either be ayear long thing or a term long thing so that prospective students build a connection with certain bloggers and get all their questions answered directly or indirectly through the blogs. |

I guess I expected future students to get more involved than they did but that's nothing that can be changed by you guys. |
I noticed that the link to the blog wasn't very big. Maybe a bigger link, or possibly a banner like the one across the top of the blog page would draw more attention? |

I thought the blog had a lot to offer for first year students that were curious about what university is really like. I wished I would have had this available to me in my first year. |
