6. 3524 is basically a public finance course. I will teach the S2 version, which focuses on the role of government in our society through thinking about government expenditures and revenues. Writing assignments instead of exams will be major components of evaluation so the course will be a good one for you to find out whether you would be interested in graduate studies. I may or may not teach an additional section of 3524 in fall and/or winter, depending on the number of students who expresses an interest.
