YU Link has been designed to be easy to use. Most of its tools, content, and directories can be used without specific instruction beforehand. In addition, we have created an introductory video that explains how to get started.
On YU Link, you will find content intended only for York faculty and staff, such as internal announcements, information from the HR Department, and personalized information such as the courses you're teaching and your pension and benefits information.
There are also several social features (for example, rich profiles, rating and commenting on news articles, and "Who Knows How" discussions) to support collaboration so that we can better fulfill our mission of teaching, research and service to the community.
The success of YU Link's collaborative features depends very much on people contributing their own information, comments and questions to foster a dialogue and discussion. As YU Link is a workplace tool, communication should follow University practices. Specifically, posts should be constructive and fact-based, respectful of each other and the community as a whole. All contributed "content" in YU Link clearly displays the name of the contributor.
If you have questions about or comments on this material, please use the Feedback link on the top right of YU Link. You'll receive a response within 3 business days.
