York & U
 August 2007

On September 4, come to the York Day Information Fair, our annual showcase of York's 270 student clubs and organizations. You'll have the opportunity to sign up for clubs, upcoming events and get a taste of what York has to offer outside the classroom. Held from 9:30am to 3pm in the Tait McKenzie Field House Gym, this event is the day-long finale to Welcome Week.

Here's what you'll be able to do during the Fair:
  • Meet representatives from campus services and student organizations.
  • Enjoy ongoing entertainment and demonstrations.
  • Enter the York Day Contest for a chance to win instant prizes
  • Meet student government leaders and university administrators as they welcome you to York and offer words of encouragement.
  • Join other students in your College and show your school spirit in the second annual College Cheer- Off.
  • Enjoy free food!

The next big event is YorkFest.

Clubs and student organizations at York are administered through Student Community & Leadership Development (SC&LD). SC&LD serves one of the most diverse populations of any Canadian university and provides student services and programs that are innovative and responsive to the changing needs of the community.
