Kinesiology & Health Science The School of Kinesiology and Health Science at York University is an integrated unit which offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs. The School of Kinesiology and Health Science is additionally responsible for co-curricular and service programming in Sport and Recreation for all students of the University. Kinesiology and Health Science is the study of human movement and the relationship between physical activity and health. Most students enter the Kinesiology and Health Science Program because they have a keen interest in physical activity and health and plan to work in an applied health or education field. York's Kinesiology and Health Science program includes academic theory, laboratory, tutorial and physical activity practica experiences. The program is constantly evolving in response to societal changes and shifts in faculty and student interests.
