The following panellists will discuss racism in academia: Carl James, director of the York Centre for Education and Community in the Faculty of Education; York Professor Patricia Perkins of the Faculty of Environmental Studies; Mehdi Rizvi , columnist for Straight Goods News in Ottawa and CERIS affiliate; Shiva Sadeghi, an Academic Fellow at the Centre for Critical Qualitative Research at the University of Toronto; Ryerson University Professor of Early Childhood Studies Mehrunnisa Ali; and Jennisha Wilson, a graduate student in York's Faculty of Environmental Studies.
