Criminalizing & Criminalized States Conference

Criminalizing & Criminalized States: A 21st-Century Reassessment of the Domestic and International Interfaces Between the State and Criminal Law conference will explore the  question: What significance does our understanding of the state have for criminal law?

The two-day conference will feature several speakers, including Avia Pasternak of the University of Essex talking about "Justifying the Punishment of States" and Alice Ristroph of Seton Hall discussing "Political Anthropomorphism".
