The Security and Defence Forum (SDF) was established by the Government of Canada in 1967 to develop a Canadian competence in security and defence issues. Over the past 30 years the SDF has been instrumental in establishing an independent, internationally recognized expertise in the analysis of security and defence issues from a Canadian perspective.
Today, this community contributes to public policy debates, not only through the research produced at the centres of expertise by faculty and students, but also through a range of outreach activities across Canadian society.
