We would like to thank everyone who has participated and supported the YDS this past academic year. We especially like to thank our outgoing exec for their hard work.
This summer, the YDS will not be holding summer meetings, however, if you are interested in debates, email yorkdebatingsociety@gmail.com for more details.
Membership in the YDS is absolutely FREE to any York student. Regardless of experience, students are encouraged to come to our meetings and watch or participate in an informal mock debate. Being involved in the YDS requires no previous experience in public speaking or previous knowledge of any particular issue or field--- all you need is an interest in debating!
