Health and the Environment

Health and the Environment focuses on interactions between people and their physical and social environment and attempts to promote healthy living and improve quality of life. Specific areas of interest in the field of health and the environment include gene-environment interactions, environmental racism and environmental activism, sustainability, environmental science and technology, healthy workplace, water, air, and soil quality, biomedical toxicology, and biomedical waste management.
