It's only money, isn't it?
One of the hardest lessons first-year students have to learn is how to manage their money. Deanna Vexler knows the issue from both sides: as a third-year student at the Schulich School of Business and as someone who still has to watch her money. Vexler has learned that lesson. "I’ve been there and done that," says Vexler. "In fact, I’m still there." And, as part of York's Orientation Week for first-year students, Vexler has been giving advice about money management to first-year students.

AGYU invites you to party hearty
For Orientation 2005 the AGYU asks the question, "Do you know what hazing is?" And, of course, they’re ready to provide the answer if you join the West Side Stitches Couture Club at the gallery on Sept. 6 from 5 to 9pm for some orientation fun. According to rumours, you can get up to no good in the hazing tent and dance to the beat of DH Will Munro, drink, eat and be challenged by contemporary art. It's part of a month of AGYU fun.
