About Yorkwise
Yorkwise is about being aware of the impact we have on our surroundings, which involves taking action that is ecologically, economically and socially conscious. It's through understanding that we can ensure respect and responsibility on York's campuses and to our community.
Being Yorkwise includes protecting, conserving, restoring, maintaining and enhancing the ecology of York's Keele and Glendon campuses. This is achieved through integrated management of the University through responsible planning, design, development, renovation and maintenance in order to achieve a sustainable landscape. Yorkwise is also about being aware of campus initiatives and making the most of what they have to offer.
You can do your part by being Yorkwise. Be aware, help promote campus initiatives, and take advanatage of all that the campus has to offer.
