Struggling with Anger: group session
Oct 27, 2011, 10am-11:30am
We all have good intentions about relating to the people around us, whether they’re friends, family or individuals we interact with in the community, at school or at work. Sometimes, though, we find the strong emotion of anger gets in the way of these interactions, creating problems.
If you are someone who struggles with how to handle anger-provoking situations and people, this workshop series can help. In this series, you will learn ways to manage your reactions, relate more effectively to others and decrease your own stress. This is a four-part series, (the group will meet on Oct. 27, Nov. 3, Nov. 10 and Nov. 17). We ask that participants attend all sessions. The series is free and open to all York students. Students interested in being part of this group can register at Counselling & Disability Services, N110 Bennett Centre.
