Mindfulness Meditation has existed for thousands of years. Carefully separated from religious or cultural context, it is the practice of bringing one's attention to the present moment in a non-judgemental and observant way. Research suggests the benefits of this form of meditation include better stress management decreased anxiety, increased concentration and more balanced interaction to everyday situations.
In this class you will learn mindfulness meditation in a stage-based approach focused on cultivating effective technique, with an emphasis on incorporating practice into your daily life.
Fee: $125 for the 7 week program ($50 for students with valid ID).
