Diversity Peer Education Team (DPET) recruitment is now on!
The Diversity Peer Education Team (DPET) is a volunteer based team run by York University’s Centre for Human Rights. Students who are selected to be a part of this team will have the opportunity to engage critically with a wide variety of human rights, social justice and diversity related topics, trainings and events.
The main focus of the Diversity Peer Education Team is to help organize and implement human rights-related events and trainings. Some examples of this work include York University’s "Can I Kiss You?" event, the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women, annual Inclusion Day conference and the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
Interested applicants are asked to hand deliver a résumé and statement of interest to S327 Ross Building by no later than Friday, March 2 at 4:30pm. Application forms are available at S327 Ross Building at the front desk.
