Cafe Scientifique: Gender Matters - Caring about Long-term Residential Care

Long-term residential care is mainly care for women by women. What are the consequences for policy and practices? How can we ensure those who live and work in long-term care are treated with dignity and respect? Experts will draw on recent research from Germany, BC and Ontario to provoke a conversation about how and why gender matters in long-term residential care.
The Café is funded by CIHR and the Re-imagining Long-term Residential Care SSHRC MCRI project at York University.
