Emergency Preparedness Week 2012
May 8, 2012 to May 10, 2012
Emergency Preparedness Week is a Canada-wide initiative to increase awareness about individual and family preparedness – emphasizing that the public can reduce the risk and consequences of an emergency by being better prepared.
It is important to remember that we are not immune to emergencies here at York. Whether faculty, staff or student – it is up to each and every one of us to do our part and be prepared. To help better prepare our community and its members, the Office of Emergency Preparedness is planning a number of activities on campus during emergency preparedness week including an Emergency Preparedness Information Kiosk in Vari Hall, an Emergency Response Team Appreciation Open House, and an Emergency Information Open Forum.
