Staff: Career Pathing Series: Foundational Course – Who Am I? (SDCAR1)

This course is open to non-academic unionized employees interested in developing and charting their professional career plan.
Note: The Career Pathing series consists of three sessions and runs for three non-consecutive half days.Participants must be prepared to attend all three dates and fulfill homework requirements after each week.
Designed for unionized staff, this Career Planning session PHASE I will be an introduction to career assessment. It will include personality assessment and the introduction of other key career planning tools.
- MBTI/Keirsey Assessment – to examine how you may approach a career plan
- Use of an interactive self-discovery board game where you will identify your skills, abilities, interests and desires
- Assessment of where you are now and where you are interested in going
You will leave with a better idea of your foundational career assets, aspirations and orientation to guide you in your exploration.
Participants are encouraged to come with questions.
