How to write a play

Vanier College Productions is holding the first of three free workshops that will run this year - How to write a play, a workshop with Marcia Johnson on playwriting skills.
Anyone can join and no prior experience is required. Johnson, vice-president of Women Playwrights International, has been a theatre artist in Toronto for over 25 years. She is also an actor and the writer of award-winning radio dramas. Her play Linden’s Sister, is published by the Elementary Teachers’ Federation of Ontario in the collection More than a Play. The short opera My Mother’s Ring, for which she wrote the libretto, was nominated for a 2009 Dora Mavor Moore Award.
