Aboriginal Leadership and Education: Our Shared Canadian Journey

Oct 23, 2012, 7pm-8:30pm

Join the York Centre for Education and Community (YCEC) and the York Centre for Aboriginal Student Services (CASS) for a public lecture featuring Gabrielle Scrimshaw. Scrimshaw's lecture will focus on how Canada's fastest growing demographic, the Aboriginal population, is growing in numbers, educational rates, and what it means for the Canadian economy. She will share stories from her personal journey while linking it to the broader Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal context. For more information, contact YCEC at 416-736-2100 ext. 58458 or by e-mail at ycec@edu.yorku.ca.
