York U’s Invisible Fence: York U’s relationship to the Jane and Finch community

Honor Ford-Smith, Ellie Perkins and Ray Rogers will speak at a workshop to introduce participants to York’s relationships to surrounding communities. The facilitators will be Stefan Kipfer and Ciann Wilson.
The workshop will focus on the class-based and racialized exclusion of the Jane-Finch community from York University space and discuss critically various initiatives which have emerged to problematize or address these forms of exclusion.
