Issues of Cost & Access: Justice & Early Childhood Education
Nov 15, 2012, 11:30am-1pm
Canada’s health care, early childhood education and social investment sectors have made great strides in addressing the diverse barriers to access facing a growing number of citizens. This has chiefly been achieved by rethinking dominant paradigms around costs. At the Canadian Forum on Civil Justice, we are interested in learning from these sectors about parallels to access to civil justice. Do cost and access provide a common currency for comparative analysis across systems? What lessons can inform research aimed at improving access to the civil justice system?
