Canadian English: Linguistic Variation in Time and Space

This full-day workshop about the regional and social variation of the English language across Canada will feature talks by faculty and graduate students from York University, the University of Toronto, Memorial University of Newfoundland and the Université du Québec à Montréal.
There is no registration fee, but those planning to attend are asked to contact James Walker at email@example.com or Michol Hoffman at firstname.lastname@example.org. A detailed program will be circulated.
This workshop will kick-off a week-long display of Elaine Gold's Canadian Language Museum exhibit "Canadian English, Eh?" in the rotunda of Vari Hall, from Nov. 23 to 30, 10am to 5pm.
