This course is designed for staff and faculty at York University.

Description:

This course will introduce and provide a clear understanding of the procurement and payment process at York. Attendees will gain an understanding of the various roles and responsibilities of all parties throughout the procure-to-pay cycle. Participants will learn: how to achieve fair market and best value when purchasing for York University; the various types of payment options and when to apply them; the importance of compliance; and how to identify and minimize risk.

  • procure-to-pay cycle;
  • information about fair market and best value during purchasing;
  • guidelines of compliance protocol; and 
  • policies for risk management.
