Understanding Student Information System Reports: Web 202

Prerequisites: PRIV 101, SIS 101, Excel (intermediate), Student Information System (SIS) password and Passport York.

Recommended for: managers, senior staff and Faculty representatives responsible for records/student interactions.

Objectives:

  • familiarize users with the variety of tools available for the reporting of data within SIS;
  • learn to use the features contained within these reporting tools; 
  • learn where to find SIS Reports;
  • review the use of filters within Excel to maximize the value of the generated report.
