The Doc Talks series features a screening of award-winning Canadian actor and director Sarah Polley's groundbreaking feature documentary Stories We Tell, followed by a Q&A with Polley.

Polley's playful investigation into the elusive truth buried within the contradictions of a family of storytellers paints a profound portrait of a complicated and deeply loving family.
4pm | Q&A with Sara Polley
Polley made her feature film directorial debut with Away from Her, for which she won a Genie Award for Best Achievement in Direction and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay. Polley's second film, Take This Waltz, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2011. Her latest film, Stories We Tell, is her first feature-length documentary. It had its world premiere at the Venice Film Festival and its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2012.
