Law Through Film Series: Capturing the Friedmans

Jan 20, 2014, 12:30pm-2:30pm

A documentary on the Friedmans, a seemingly typical, upper-middleclass Jewish family whose world is instantly transformed when the father and his youngest son are arrested and charged with shocking and horrible crimes.

Launched in 2014, the Law Through Film Series aims to showcase the power of film to educate and articulate controversial legal issues. Each semester the series will feature four exceptional films that exhibit excellence in filmmaking and explore a broad spectrum of legal issues, from immigration to intellectual property. Following each screening, there will be an opportunity to discuss the film and its issues with the chair and other attendees.

All are welcome to attend. A light lunch will be served.
RSVP here, event code: FILM1.
