2014 OTF/OADE Conference: Creating Circles of Hope in Teacher Education
Feb 21, 2014 to Feb 22, 2014
For more than 20 years, the Ontario Teachers’ Federation and its affiliates (AEFO, ETFO, OECTA and OSSTF) have co-sponsored an annual conference on teacher education with the Ontario Association of Deans of Education. This year’s conference, Creating Circles of Hope in Teacher Education, will bring together educators from schools and universities to explore four emerging themes in the preparation of beginning teachers: inquiry, integration, innovation and identity.
The conference will be an open event, available to Faculty members at Ontario’s 15 publicly assisted Faculties/schools of education, federation members and others interested in teacher education. We will closely examine possibilities of our collective vision, emerging relationships, growing knowledge and courageous actions relating to those themes.
