Communicating Your Research: Conference & Poster Presentation
Feb 7, 2014, 10am-11:30am
As part of the Scholarly Communications Series 2013-2014, the Faculty of Graduate Studies presents Communicating Your Research: Conference & Poster Presentation Friday Februrary 7, from 10:00 to 11:30 am in Room 519 Kaneff Tower.
Why present a paper/poster at a conference? How can I find out about the conferences happening in my field? How many should I attend? How long should a paper be? How is writing a conference paper different than writing a paper for coursework? What should a poster communicate to conference participants? What funding is available to present at conferences? Our panel will answer these questions, and many more, about presenting papers and posters at conferences. Please join us to hear from the experts, ask questions, and speak to your experience of presenting conference papers and posters.
