York University Symphony Orchestra

Professor Mark Chambers conducts the York University Symphony Orchestra in a concert featuring some of the greatest symphonic repertoire ever composed.

The program includes Mozart’s “Porgi Amor”, the third movement from Ibert’s Concerto for Flute and Orchestra, Mozart’s Flute Concerto, Copland’s Fanfare for the Common Man, Liszt's Concerto for Piano and Orchestra No. 1 in E flat major and Dvorak’s Symphony No. 9 in E minor, Op. 95.

Featured as soloists in the performance are the winners of the 2014 York University Concerto Competition: William Bellehumeur (piano), Jonelle Sills (voice) and Tetsuya Kobayashi (flute).
