Call for Research Participants: From Amongst York University Faculty

Dr. Michael Condra, Director of Health, Counselling and Disability Services, Queen's University invites York University faculty to participate in an Innovative Research Study on Student Mental Health
The study seeks faculty members to participate in a study being carried out by St. Lawrence College and Queen’s University that examines documentation standards for students with mental health disabilities in post-secondary institutions. The goal of the research is to develop province-wide academic accommodation standards for students with mental health issues.
The research is funded by the Mental Health Innovation Fund (MHIF) provided by the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities and has been approved by the Office of Research Ethics at York University (Reference #2013-305).
How Can You Participate?
The study involves participating in a 60 – 90 minute Faculty Focus Group on

Participation in the focus group is voluntary. Participants may withdraw from the study at any time. At no time will the researchers reveal the identity of the research participants.
