Mark Freiman practises law at Lerners LLP. From 2000 to 2004, he served as deputy attorney general for Ontario. He had previously served as law clerk to Chief Justice Brian Dickson and as senior policy advisor to then Attorney General Ian Scott.
He has participated in numerous public investigations in various capacities, including as lead commission counsel for the Air India Public Inquiry and for the Military Police Complaints Commission in a recent public interest hearing about the treatment of a military suicide.
In addition to undergraduate and law degrees from the University of Toronto, he holds a PhD from Stanford University in modern thought and literature.
Mark Freiman is currently a McMurtry Fellow at Osgoode Hall Law School.
