DESCRIPTION:York University is hosting the 2012 OUA (Ontario University 
 Athletics) Track & Field Championships on Feb. 24 & 25 at the 
 Toronto Track and Field Centre located on the Keele campus. With 
 19 teams competing for provincial medals and the chance to 
 advance to the CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport) Championships 
 at the University of Manitoba\, March 8 to 10\, the competition 
 will be second to none.

DESCRIPTION:Join FES's Sustainable Energy Initiative\, in partnership with 
 Cisco and the Danish Consulate\, as we hear from the following 
 speakers:  
  
     Peter Love (Love Energy Consultants): Peter 
 recently completed his term as Ontario&rsquo\;s first chief 
 energy conservation officer. He will speak about climate change 
 as the most important environmental issue to face mankind. He 
 will highlight the critical role conservation plays\, the 
 benefits of conservation and its challenges. He will refer 
 specifically to what you can do at home\, at work and in school 
 to help the problem. There will be lots of time for questions\, 
 so use this as a chance to ask those questions about energy that 
 have been nagging you for years.  
     Mikael Togeby (partner 
 with EA Energianalyse & co-author on the RISO energy report): 
 Mikael will be focusing on evaluating conservation initiatives 
 and providing utilities with concrete tools to enable more 
 efficient conservation\, taking into account socio-economic 
 issues as well. Mikael will also be sharing research findings 
 from the EA Energianalyse Energy efficiency obligation project: 
 evaluation of impact & cost.  
     Special guest Preben Maegaard 
 (senior vice-president\, Eurosolar\, director of Nordic 
 Folkecentre for Renewable Energy) 
  
 The goals of the February 
 Sustainable Energy Initiative breakfast seminar are to provide an 
 overview of state-of-the-art technological solutions and 
 approaches within the context of climate mitigation and energy 
 security initiatives\, and to highlight opportunities that have 
 worked well internationally that can be adapted to Ontario and 
 Canada.
