Saving Grace
THE LONGEST GAME IN HOCKEY HISTORY

ONE OF the greatest rivalries in Canadian sport history produced the longest hockey game in Canadian women's university sport history this year- five hours and 10 minutes. U of T's Rhonda Mitchell scored the final goal in the eighth period to give her team a 2-1 win over York's Yeowomen in the Ontario University Athletics women's hockey championship semifinal. Star player was Debra Ferguson (pictured). She made 63 saves in 125 minutes.
