AT THE GALLERIES


The Art Gallery of York University will present an exhibition of photographs by Robin Collyer, beginning Aug. 30 and continuing until Sept. 19. The AGYU will also run guided walking tours of the University's outdoor sculpture collection through to mid-October, weather permitting.

The IDA Gallery, located in the Centre for Fine Arts will display a number of exhibitions during the months of September, October and November. Featured artists include: Eva Stryjnik; Mana Rouholamini; Jisung Chae; Ester Pugliese; Mariangela Piccone; Karen Azoulay; Sara Tesolin; Vera Hepp; Melina Sist; Louvie Velasco; Carolyne Topdjian; Kasia Briegmann; Ingrid Zeltins; and Paul Pancorvo. An Education Fair will take place Nov. 3 in Vari Hall. The fair will provide an excellent opportunity to investigate post-graduate educational opportunities at schools such as the University of Toronto's Faculty of Nursing, the Canadian Management Accountants (CMA) of Ontario, and York's Osgoode Hall Law School.

Are you a graduate of the Faculty of Arts and in a career that you love? Then Career Services wants you! Career Services plans to host a Liberal Arts Career Forum in March 2000. They are looking for alumni willing to speak to students about the value of a liberal arts degree, offer advice and to share how their career paths have evolved.
