Maybe it's no coincidence that our interviewer's notes accidentally caught fire after talking to this red-hot talent. Sault-born photographer Corey Mihailiuk claims he caught the shutter bug when he "was a kid with an Instamatic". Mihailiuk has worked with the likes of Walter Chin, Greg Gormand and E.J.Camp and regularly publishes in well-known mags such as Rolling Stone, Elm Street, Toronto Life, TV Guide, Saturday Night and Equinox. His star-studded portfolio is a who's who of Canada's business and social elite. There you'll find Global TV CEO Izzy Asper, director Atom Egoyan and actor Martin Short mugging it for the camera. When he's not behind the lens you might find Mihailiuk indulging his fantasy of being a rock and roll musician. His second passion in life is his electric guitar.
