Due to the large volume of subscribers, Computing and Communications Services (CCS) and the York University Alumni Association have decided to end service of Alumnet and transfer current Alumnet members over to the Internet division of ACC TelEnterprises, ICAN.net.

    CCS, ACC and the alumni association have negotiated to provide current Alumnet users with the same low $14.95 / 40 hours subscription as they currently enjoy. This rate will hold for current Alumnet users for at least the next six months.

    Should current Alumnet users choose to join the ACC program they will have their e-mail address automatically forwarded to their new address at the ICAN.net server and it will remain forwarded for at least one year from the change of provider date.

    Account access through Alumnet ceased to be available at midnight on May 31, 1997. To set up a new account contact ACC TelEnterprises at 1-888-274-7920.
