Cabin Fever
Story by Michael Todd
Page: 2 Not long ago, guests for a function held at York University were told to meet at Hart House, located behind Osgoode Hall Law School. Surely there was some mistake, they said. No, York does indeed have a Hart House but it's made out of logs, not stone, and the Masseys had nothing to do with it. Not many people know about the pioneer structure located behind Osgoode Hall Law School. It sits on what's left of the old Hoover farmstead. Few of us ever saw inside as students, so Profiles sent a photographer to capture the flavour of the 1830s cabin. And we also did a little sleuthing to find out how Hart House got here in the first place.
